Due  to the advance in  communication  technology, the world is getting smaller each  minute, and although our prime market is Europe, we are more than ever aware of the increase of our overseas sailors. Therefore Zoran, Jakov  & Adriana embarked on the journey to the brave new world 🙂 however not across the ocean by boat but  by plane. Our destination – Annapolis  Boat Show, United  States of  America. After 9-hour-flight  everything  seemed unreal, the sights of Washington DC made us think  we were extras in “House of  Cards”. Washington Memorial Park, Monument,  The White  House were  the first  sights  we witnessed  driving  through the Unites States. We were impressed indeed, of course.

Annapolis (/əˈnæpəls/) is the capital of the U.S. state of  Maryland, as well as the county seat of Anna Arundel County. Situated on the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Severn River, 25 miles (40 km) south of  Baltimore and about 30 miles (50 km) east of Washington DC, Annapolis is part of the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. Its population was measured at 38,394. Annapolis is  a home of United States  Naval Academy and the Marine Corps since 1845.  So  do not be surprised  when  you see the midshipmen in their starched uniforms walking the streets of Downtown Annapolis or to hear the chants: Go Navy, Beat Army.

Annapolis Boat  Show presents a premier event management company, that has produced grand in-water boat shows since 1970. Today, close to 130,000 loyal attendees around the world travel to the Chesapeake Bay each year to experience these nautical extravaganzas. We chose to take part in the United States  Sailboat Show that  took place  from October 6 -10, 2016. We were blown away with a number of exhibitors, almost every major sailboat manufacturer exhibited their vessels at this in-water boat  show.

Weather was almost perfect and organisation excellent.I hope our visitors were happy with the information they have received about sailing in Croatia. The lucky winner who won free week of sailing on our BENETEAU 50 FAMILY “LARA” from June 10-17, 2017 is

Mr. Peter M. Stevens

We loved Annapolis but it was time to say goodbye to chill out mode of Chesapeake Bay and head north to  NEW YORK! No boat show there but plenty of boats & sailors!

Needless to say we also fell in love with the puls of this enormous city. Completely opposite of Annapolis, but that is what United States are about! We hope we did a “GREAT JOB” &  that Adriatic Sailing team will offer the same warm welcome to our USA clients in the summer 2017! Till we meet again USA.
