Sunday, September 27, weather: moderate to fresh NE wind, clear & sunny skies, check ins: done, time for Adriatic Sailing team to relax aboard Lagoon 560. One day adventure can begin thanks to our hosts, Arctic Queen crew, Petra & Boris.
It was a really pleasant surprise to experience this big of the vessel sailing 9.4 kt. We flew to our destination Bobovisce on the island of Brac.
Lunch on the picturesque estate of family Rojevic “RANJAK” was out of this wold experience. The estate presents the perfect setting to taste Dalmatian specialties prepared from ingredients locally grown. Few spirts & glass of rich red wine, we ready for game of BALOTE (a ball sport belonging to the boules sport family, closely related to bowls and pentanque, with a common ancestry from ancient games played in the Roman Empire). Very happy we headed back, sails up of course!
Phone call to our 208, technical support number, our course was changed to island of Solta for an intervention. Clients needed our help to roll back their genoa sheet. Well, they were a bit surprised with our choice of transport. It was a great day indeed for all, and we will definitely do it again!
