Why skip spring sailing in the Caribbean for SUMMER VACATION in Croatia?

CROATIA has become the country that is climbing up on everybody’s bucket list for summer vacation. Why would you waste a week in the “been there-seen that” Caribbean vacation when you can discover new part of the world & Adriatic Sea, the COUNTRY OF RICH HISTORY & AMAZING NATURE?

Croatia’s Adriatic Sea mainland coast is 1777 km (1104 miles) long, while its 1246 islands and islets present the most intended coastline in the Med. More than 1000 islands in a small country, that has only 4 500 000 inhabitants. Hm, lots of holiday & sailing destinations to choose from, even if you visit only for a week.

The number of the sunshine hours make Croatia the sunniest region of the Mediterranean basin. Moderate winds, climate & tides are main points of this perfect sailing area for the beginners but also for experienced sailors.

Croatia has 8 National Parks, out of which 4 are reachable by boat: islands BRIJUNI, KORNATI, MLJET  &  WATERFALLS OF RIVER KRKA. Discover the breath-taking  sights of well-preserved nature wonders.

I believe all of you heard about DUBROVNIK, but did you know that Dubrovnik & Split were film sets for world famous series “GAME OF THRONES”. Also, did you know that Dubrovnik will be featured in the new STAR WARS 8? Imagine bragging to your friend at the movie theatre that you have been there 🙂

In Croatia there are places to have 10-15$ cocktails or to spend 50$/per person for a meal, but those places are an exception, not the rule. Most of the places one will visit  in Croatia are cheap compared to prices in the Caribbean resorts. We have local currency HRVATSKA KUNA and you will definitely get you money worth here.

GMO is regulated & prohibited by law in Croatia. Do not be surprised if you find a little worm in freshly picked apples, it is just a sign that it is tasty 🙂 Are you tired of spare ribs & hamburgers,  had maybe too many Pain Killers? Croatia offers you  a taste of Mediterranean with delicious sea food, lamb & veal dishes, vegetables, freshly pocked fruit & smooth wine. 

Official language is Croatian,  but we start learning a foreign language at the age of 10. Some of us speak Italian, some German, Spanish or French, but most of us speak  English (with USA, UK or Russian accent 🙂 and we love to chat with  foreigners. Whether we are trying to offer you  some tourist service, help you with directions, explain you what kind of music is that 🙂  or just want get to know where you come from.

SPLIT, ZADAR  & DUBROVNIK  – we have THREE international airports situated on the Adriatic coast. From Split airport one can walk to the sea, that is how close it is. You can book your international flights easily as all the major airline companies & European low-cost companies land on all three airports, couple of times a day.
