The Historical Gourmet Tour by Adriatic Sailing is about slowing down and experiencing the Adriatic the way locals do – through stories, food, wine, and time spent in remarkable places.
This is not just a sailing route, but a journey between islands where every stop has a reason. You walk through stone towns shaped by centuries of history, climb fortresses with views worth the effort, cycle through national parks, and discover hidden bays and tunnels that few visitors ever see. In between, you sit at long tables in family-run farms and small konobas, sharing traditional dishes prepared under the bell, tasting local wines, and listening to the people who call these islands home.
Days are filled with easy sailing, swimming, and exploring at a relaxed pace. Evenings are about good food, good wine, and unhurried conversations. Join the tour
Saturday:
Departure from marina Kastela early in the morning and sailing towards Vis. A visit to the Stončica lighthouse, which is located on the northern cape of the island of Vis (it has been standing since 1865 and is still in operation).
Sunday:
Sailing around the island of Lastovo and a visit to the Sušac lighthouse on the island of the same name with the organization of lunch. The lighthouse is special becauseit is the only place where you can enjoy meat and fish of unique quality.
Monday:
Sailing around the southern side of Lastovo, at the sea entrance to the Skrivena luka bay, where the Struga cape is located, on which the lighthouse of the same name was built in 1839.
Tuesday:
Morning sailing towards the island of Korčula, visit to the lighthouse “Plocica”, which is located on the island of the same name between Korčula and Hvar, and the Pelješac peninsula. From a distance, it looks like a tile that has emerged from the sea.
Wednesday:
Sailing towards the island of Hvar. A visit to the lighthouse on “Pokonji dol”, a small island 2 km from Hvar, which can be visited in just 600 steps. Dinner in the famous restaurant “Pokonji dol”.
Thursday:
Return to the marina Kastela and disembarkation of guests by 10:00 a.m.
